what we found on 100 houston-area sites
Slow in the lab, unmeasured in real life
The median mobile lab score was 62 out of 100, and 97 of the 100 sites took longer than 2.5 seconds to show their main content in that test. Google had real-visitor speed data for only 6 of them.
Hard to reach on a phone
30 of 100 had no tap-to-call link on the home or contact page, and 13 had neither a form nor a tap-to-call link.
Google listings out of step
Of the 83 Google Business Profiles we could confirm, 15 showed a phone number that didn't match the business's own site.
