African Echoes Counseling & Assessment Services
Perry Bakari's site was built around a Flash intro that browsers stopped playing in 2020. The rebuild brings the intro back in code that runs everywhere, keeps every old address working, and hands Perry the keys to edit it himself.

Problem
African Echoes Counseling & Assessment Services is Perry R. Bakari's counseling, assessment and scholar-athlete mentoring practice in New Jersey. Its site opened on a Flash animation, and browsers stopped running Flash at the end of 2020, so the front page had shrunk to a heading and a Skip Intro link. The practice also had three domains to bring under one address, and Perry wanted to make his own updates without waiting on anyone.
Solution
We rebuilt the site on Astro and Cloudflare Workers with Sanity behind it. The opening Echo animation is redrawn in code: it plays in every modern browser, can be skipped, and stays off for visitors who ask for reduced motion. The original house music, recovered from the old Flash files, plays only when a visitor turns sound on. Perry edits his pages, his events and the inbox the contact form sends to from Sanity Studio, and the form sends from his own domain.

Results
The new site went live at africanechoesinc.com on November 2, 2026, and Perry published his first edits that same day. All 15 old addresses we tested, including aboutus.htm, land on the right page, and his two other domains redirect to the new site. The figures here are lab measurements from launch day, not field data.
